“My 2 and 4 y/o love this book, and it is a great book that will grow with them! I love how educational this book is, without it “feeling like” we are teaching anything. In the animals section, we talk about the different ecosystems and what kinds of plants and animals live in each.

In the Long Ago section, we learn about ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Rome, The Vikings, The Wagon Trail, and so much more!

We learn basic math skills (counting, adding, subtracting – “Let’s look for the parasols – how many have we found already? How many more do we need to find? How many total?” –

And it also challenges vocabulary – teaching lots new words that kids aren’t likely to come across every day. It’s the perfect quiet time book, too. I just can’t say enough good things. Did I mention what a bargain it is? LOVE it.”
